I'm Birdiegirl.

You'll notice that, at present, quite a few of my hubs are about golf.  For golfers, a birdie is a score of one stroke under par for a golf hole. Birdie or bogey -- it's all about striving to put in an effort that better than par.  That's a sound goal, even if you're not into golf.
